July is the month of summer!
With the Fourth of July fast approaching, people are dusting off the BBQ grills and digging out their sunscreen (if they haven’t done so already). And while our Independence Day tends to dominate the month of July here in the states, there are lots of other great days to celebrate as well.
How about National Give Something Away Day on the15th or World Listening Day on the 18th?
I love these days because they remind me to be kind to others by sharing what I have and to take time to listen not only to nature and the world around me at large but also to the individuals who are part of my everyday world.
My top three tips for marketing this month?
- Give something away! Whether it’s a BOGO, a trial offer, or your best advice for a safe and enjoyable summer holiday.
- Take time to listen to your customers and build your relationships by posting a quick survey on social media, asking how they’re going to spend their Independence Day, Canada Day, or Bastille Day.
- Promote and support your community by encouraging your customers to get involved in a beach clean up and to stay safe by following social distancing, wearing masks and applying sunscreen liberally.
And remember, it’s summer — have some fun!
